I want to change my OPI name and tried the Network Configuration menu.
It seems to work partly since I can access my OPI with the new new URL
https://"newName".op-i.me
however in the OPI itself it believes its name is the old.
If I try to update it again then it refuses the "newName".

Interesting issue you have here...
The easy part to explain is why you can not change it again, obviously since you can reach your OPI on your 'newname' our deny any OPI to register that name since you already have it...
It is harder to understand why your OPI did not update correctly. It does not really matter, as the name is only used in the full name, so what is displayed internally is irrelevant, but it should of course state the correct name.
Try to change to something else then change back to your 'newname', but I have filed this as a bug that we need to look into.
