certificates outdated

Post by johan » Tue Feb 25, 2020 9:41 pm

The tls certificate on my OPI which runs Kinguard has been outdated. Is this something that has happened others and what can I do to update certificates? Only ssh access at the moment.

Hi Johan,

Since you have ssh access try running the following command:

Code: Select all

/usr/share/kinguard-certhandler/letsencrypt.sh -cv
It will give us a bit more information on why the LetsEncrypt certificate does not update.

Thanks PA, I sent you the output off line from forum to not expose my addresses and the flaw.

For anybody else that might encounter this, we have updated the software handling the certificates. If you have automatic updates turned on, this should install on the next nightly upgrade.

If you experience issues after the update, please reboot you unit as all software that is using the certificate does not immediate re-read the new certificate.
