We have had questions regarding the maximum size for attachments. The server limit is set to 50MB, but attachments to email are base64 encoded prior to sending which uses a bit more.
So the actual attachment size that can be used is somewhere just below 40MB.

Fetching mail from Hotmail / live.com
As some people have noticed, fetching mail from Hotmail / live.com accounts does not work out of the box. For this to work, the hotmail account needs to have "POP" enabled. To do this, login to your hotmail account, click the gear icon in the top right corner, then select "Full settin...

Re: Feature Request: NextCloud Talk
I totally agree with you , the capabilities of private chat / video is really something that we want and we have already some tests running. For instance we have been running an XMPP-server for evalutaion (prosody) as well as running a web-based chat client (movim) on top of that, both on OPI and KE...

Re: Update OPI to Kinguard
This seems correct. The dual flash is indicating that the installer is running and it shuts down the unit when it is done. To proceed, use a new sd-card (or format /erase the old) since the Kinguard 18.06 release is not compatible with the dataformat of the old sd-card. Too many updates.... Be aware...

Kinguard 18.06 Released
Finally we are ready to relase Kinguard 18.06. This is the first release under The Kinguard Project flag and a lot of effort has been put into making the code a lot more modular and depend as little as possible on what hardware it is actually running on. With this release the system is now based on ...

Re: Mail relay server
Just a quick not here aswell. Depending on your setup, it might be possible for you to setup forwards for your email on your own domain. Meaning that all mail to user@coolname.yourdomaion.org should be forwarded to user@coolname.mykeep.net. In this case the emails will be accepted by our relay and d...

Re: Disk(s) File System Format
Hi Striker, The USB device needs to be formatted and writable. Recommended file systems are FAT32 and ext4. Note that the "exFat" that Windows might propose is not usable. The reason for not automatically formatting the disk is that we do not want to wipe any existing data by mistake. Actu...

Let's Encrypt Certificate - Info
With the release for KEEP, the default behavior changed a bit regarding certificate handling. During initial setup the device tries to retrieve a certificate from Let's Encrypt with the domain name (FQDN) set to the default domain name for the device, something like 'mydevice.mykeep.net'. After the ...
